what are some things the groom can be responsible for in planning a wedding?
i want my wedding to be perfect, but i dont want to be in charge of everything, as of now the groom is planning the entire honeymoon, i dont even know where we are going, what else can he be responsible for?
im also thinking of letting him be responsible for entertainment at the reception

Entertainment is a good idea. You should be involved in most of the “decorating” aspects of the wedding. The entertainment part is a good idea and the actual ceremony and picking out of the food you should do together.
I ended up having to actually take my guy to the tuxedo shop and walk him through the process of what he wanted. I had to flip through a book and say “Do you want this or that? Do you like this one or that one?” Then I had to drop the bomb and tell him he had to wear a pink tie.
I’ve got my groom in charge of the transportation. He is figuring out the limos and everything. I’ve also put him in charge of the entertainment.
my groom-to-be is in charge of helping his parents plan the rehearsal dinner, finding a limo, and picking out the tuxes and organizing all the guys with renting them.
I’m doing the dresses, flowers, favors and decorations…
and the rest we are doing together!!
i’m sure your guy will be more than happy to taste test the food for the reception and the cake, so while he’s there, have him help you with other decisions (what the cake looks like, when dinner is served, what to have for appetizers etc.)

Well my fiance is responsible the design of the wedding cake and the food for the reception
I would say having him in charge of the entertainment /food / Tuxes (as long as they are run by you first lol) would be a good idea! it depends what is his strong suit maybe he can do invitations o something like that!
My soon to be hubby is in charge of making sure all his guys go get fitted, the food, the drinks, and the honeymoon. Also the music.
You both need to agree on everything. let him interview a good photographer. Then he can tell you and see what you think. he can also arrange for the limousines.
He must get the guest list for all of his side of the family and friends.
After you get the invitations he can be responsible for mailing his out.
